SV	En zij riepen met luider stem, in het Joods, tegen het volk van Jeruzalem, dat op den muur was, om die bevreesd te maken en die te beroeren, opdat zij de stad mochten innemen.
WLC	וַיִּקְרְא֨וּ בְקֹול־גָּדֹ֜ול יְהוּדִ֗ית עַל־עַ֤ם יְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עַל־הַֽחֹומָ֔ה לְיָֽרְאָ֖ם וּֽלְבַהֲלָ֑ם לְמַ֖עַן יִלְכְּד֥וּ אֶת־הָעִֽיר׃
Trans.	wayyiqərə’û ḇəqwōl-gāḏwōl yəhûḏîṯ ‘al-‘am yərûšālaim ’ăšer ‘al-h^aḥwōmâ ləyārə’ām ûləḇahălām ləm^a‘an yiləkəḏû ’eṯ-hā‘îr:

AC	יח ויקראו בקול גדול יהודית על עם ירושלם אשר על החומה ליראם ולבהלם--למען ילכדו את העיר
ASV	And they cried with a loud voice in the Jews' language unto the people of Jerusalem that were on the wall, to affright them, and to trouble them; that they might take the city.
BE	These things they said, crying out with a loud voice in the Jews' language, to the people of Jerusalem who were on the wall, with the purpose of troubling them and putting fear into them, so that they might take the town;
Darby	And they cried with a loud voice in the Jewish [language] to the people of Jerusalem that were on the wall, to frighten them and to trouble them; that they might take the city.
